Thai Together Vegetarian Cooking Class

Thai together is offering a vegetarian focused cooking class! You will learn to make an all-time favourite, papaya salad (som tam), a creamy coconut and herb infused soup with a medley of tofu and mushrooms (tom ka) and to top it off, sweet mango and sticky rice for dessert.

Liz Kalnin of Thai Together and a Chiang Mai native, will explain the unique blend of flavours that characterize Thai food, and how balancing tastes is at the heart of Thai cuisine.

The class will be hands-on so you will be guided throughout. You will also learn tips on where ingredients can be found in Barcelona and practical techniques for preparing Thai food.


Shredded green papaya salad (Som Tam) tossed with green beans, tomatoes and pounded with peanuts and red chilli, and seasoned with lime and fish sauce.

Creamy coconut lemongrass, lime leaf, herb infused Tom Ka soup with tofu and a mushroom medley.

Sweet mango and sticky rice with a coconut cream sauce.

Jasmine and sticky rice along with wine are included.
