Thai Together is offering a 3-course Thai cooking class where we will teach you how to make a mouthwatering salad, curry and dessert while you also have an opportunity to connect with new people over a glass of wine.
Liz Kalnin of Thai Together and a Chiangmai native, will explain the unique blend of flavours that characterize Thai food, and how the importance of balancing tastes is at the heart of Thai cooking. She will describe how other salad and curry variations can be made with some small adjustments to the recipes.
The class will be hands-on so you will be guided throughout your making of these simple and authentic dishes. You will also learn tips of where Thai ingredients can be found in Barcelona and practical techniques to use when preparing Thai food.
Tangy Pomelo salad with a blend of mint, cilantro, lime leaves, shaved fresh coconut, chia seeds and tossed with shallots, peanuts and a hint of red chilli
Penang chicken (or tofu) curry simmered in a curry paste of herbs and spices and coconut milk and topped with torn lime leaves and ground peanuts
Bananas fried in a batter of shredded coconut, sesame and rice flour served with ice cream.
Jasmin rice and wine included.
