Fermented Foods Workshop by Umami Barcelona

Do you love KIMCHI? VEGAN CREAM CHEESE? or SAUERKRAUT? or all of the above!

Have you ever had the desire to learn how to make these wonderful fermented foods at home only to be put off by how difficult and complicated they can seem to be? ferments weren't alive and taking off or they were confused about the process or worried constantly that something was going to go wrong!

Then this workshop is for you!

I have spent the last few years of my life as a chef experimenting with fermented foods... from Kimchi, to Kombucha to Sourdough bread, Sauerkraut, pickles and vegan cheeses. I found fermentation to be very simple, and thats exactly what I want to transmit to those willing to learn!

During this workshop you will learn how to make:
•Sauerkraut with beetroot and cabbage.
•Kimchi (VG). and
•Fermented cashew cream cheese + how to flavour them.

We will finish the workshop with an abundant tasting of all of the above on HOMEMADE AREPAS! (a delicious South American corn bread). You will not leave hungry.

You will leave the workshop with your own small jar of sauerkraut to take home and look after for a couple of weeks until it ferments!

* E-recipes of all that we will make together.
